Challenge

Fixtures Living, a young and innovative brand, features best-in-class products for kitchen, bath and outdoor environments. FITCH was asked to think beyond the stagnant paradigms of the appliance industry and design an experiential prototype.

Driven by low-price tactics, and often set in warehouse environments that do little to inspire or educate a customer on what or why to buy, FITCH’s research revealed a need for a place where consumers can dream, use and choose products that bring joy to their lives.

Insight

The charge for Fixtures Living was to create a groundbreaking retail experience that engages the senses, fires the imagination and brings joy into the lives of the people who visit. FITCH did just that.

Solution

A multi-sensory experience focused on how people want to live, rather than what they want to buy. Greeted with coffee in hand, guests are invited to explore 30 vignettes. They might even choose to cook side-by-side with the in-house chef, or walk under a cascade of water in the private spa. The new Fixtures Living showroom not only inspires, it educates.

Results:

“The unique alliance between Fixtures Living and FITCH has created a new ‘Camelot’ within our industry, transforming a mere showroom concept into an unforgettable, experiential journey towards joy. We simply could not have asked for a more likeminded, visionary partner” – Jeffery R Sears, CEO, Fixtures Living
