FITCH opens first office in Moscow, our 13th studio

FITCH is pleased to announce the opening of our first office in Moscow. As the leading brand and retail design in this market for eight years, FITCH’s 13th studio embeds the agency’s operations in Russia as it sets its sights on this vibrant region.

Says CEO Lois Jacobs, “While we’ve always had a close and beneficial relationship with our Russian clients serviced from our London hub, it made sense to be closer with an on-the-ground presence. Winning eight new Russian brands in the last year, FITCH is the agency of choice in this territory, and this market is both proving to be valuable and an exciting hotbed of innovation, development and creativity.”

Headed up by Director of Russian & CIS Operations Elena Chuvakhina, working closely with David Blair, MD for Europe & Russia, the agency has a dedicated team of six Russian associates. 2012 alone saw the opening of more than 2,500 FITCH-designed stores across a portfolio of sectors as diverse as fashion & footwear retail, digital technologies and retail banking.

FITCH clients in Russia include electronics, digital and mobile phone chains Eldorado, Beeline, White Wind Digital and Sotovyi Mir; Russia’s largest retail bank Sberbank; and mass-market shoes & accessories brand Centro. For Sberbank, one of Europe’s biggest retail banks and listed in BrandZ’s Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands report, FITCH successfully delivered a new identity and contemporary retail banking experience.

Most recently, FITCH unveiled the new design for Cook House, an innovative kitchenware chain and the first national cooking school, created by Ideas4Retail.
